Man if it is one thing that I know it is you never go into another person’s city and disrespect their city. Who ever that dude was from last night lucky that he is still breathing. Obviously the “Victim” last night must of performed before Big Sean and they weren’t feeling his music and wanted to express his “Feelings” to the crowd.

Well yelling “Fuck Chicago” only got him “Fucked Up” when big Hustle Simmons slammed his dumb ass OFF THE STAGE! That dude Hustle looked like a Pro Wrestler how he put that boy in a headlock. After people put their feet to the “Victims” head, Hustle got the crowd back in order and Big Sean went back to rocking the crowd. All this on video. All this right here on Clic U. Watch this shit and laugh. Shout out to Hustle Simmons aka “Hulk Hogan” for looking out for our own Detroit artist Big Sean. watch the video!

I know not many people, black folks especially, have been keeping up with the Winter Olympics this year in Vancouver, Canada. But some epic things have been happening with regards to our country.

As of me posting this, the United States are in the lead in the medal count with 25, followed by Germany (21), Norway (14), Russian Federation (11), and Canada (10).

Now with regards to the sports…we all know, or should know, that Canada is known for hockey; they invented the sport. And usually, they’re picked to finish on top, but this year, we pulled out a HUGE upset by beating them. Watch the video to hear more about it.

Anyway, I put on for my country and always will…so keep updated with how we’re doing over in Canada for the games, by going to http://www.vancouver2010.com/.

Serena Williams won another victory in her women’s singles final match against Belgian opponent Justine Henin at the Australian Open tennis tournament in Melbourne on Friday, January 30. If that was not enough Serena, is also the #1 ranked Female Tennis player in the world, also took home another doubles victory with her older sister, Venus Williams (who is ranked number 5).

Many of us only know Porschla Coleman as the ex of Russell Simmons but homegirl has been dating Jason Kidd on the low for months. A lot of people was wondering why Jason missed the game Sunday night but it was because Coleman delivered their first baby together.

My dude Baron Davis has always been among the tops in the league as your favorite point guard, but he has little to no notoriety(I hope I spelled that right) out side of the league. This video is dope. Great conept, gives you a tour of New York. Chec out DJ Clue, Irv Gotti, Jim Jones, and other cameos in this video as B. Davis dribbles around New York in his sneakers, the “Li Ning”. I need that shirt too!

Win by any means necessary! Is this what college athletics is about? I saw this story about academic scandal at Florida State University on Outside the Lines the other day. It’s basically Academics vs. Athletics, a struggle thats debated time and time again on every college campus. Athletes who don’t have basic learning skills are getting admitted into major colleges everyday strictly for their skill in sports, not the combination of sports and academics. We all know the statistics, every college athlete will not make it to the pros. If these athletes are in college with the academic skills of a 5th grader, how will these young men make it in the real world? Don’t get me wrong, every athlete is not subject to this label but, where does this cycle of throwing academics out of the window start?

This cycle starts at the foundation of development when sports are placed above school. When more time is spent on the football field, basketball court, or baseball field than in the classroom or doing homework we have a serious problem. Many athletes that play for major universities like Florida State probably recieved star treatment early on because they were so good in middle and high school (ex. skipping school, having others do your work, coaches making deals with teahers, etc). You know the drill, and this treatment follows these athletes all the way to college. Then once they get to college some of the athletes can’t handle the workload in majors with no career concentration, and need people to do the work for them.

This just shows that these universities do not care about these student-athletes as long as the money is being made. The coaches don’t care because of the pressure on them to win and keep their job is higher than having genuine concern for a kid. Some of the parents don’t even know whats going on becuse of the trust they put in the coach to take care of their child. Other parents are so into the point of their child making the pros, its a blind item to them. Every student-athlete will not be Einstien, but give these kids a chance at life if their professional sports dreams don’t pan out.

Ingram finished 28 points ahead of Stanford running back Toby Gerhart. “I’m a little overwhelmed right now,” he said. “I’m just so excited to bring Alabama their first Heisman winner.”

According to Wilhelmina the partnership as natural, given T.O.’s popularity, “Owens has achieved what most athletes can only dream of: record books highlighting his name, fans sporting his jersey and a nickname of just two letters that is recognized by sports enthusiasts nationwide,” said Wilhelmina, according to the Associated Press.

CLICU, check out this little weasel Tim Donaghy, the disgraced NBA Referee, tell his side of why he bet on NBA games. In this interview he tells how he made his bets on NBA games, getting caught up by the mob, and fearing for his life. He also talks about the bias of referees towards Allen Iverson and other players and coaches around the league. In the ESPN interview he said that the refs had it out for Rasheed Wallace and Chauncey Billups (our two best players) while they were with my beloved Detroit Pistons, smh. Although we self-destructed as a team, its hard to believe that refs/league didn’t want to see the Pistons win like they did. I feel it’s not just Donaghy’s fault, he was just caught making money. I hold the league accountable for this mess.

I would like to hear some feedback on this topic. Rasheed has always come close to exposing that the league is rigged for certain things to happen. Example: I’m sure the league did not want to have a Detroit-San Antonio NBA Finals again after poor ratings in 2005. Insert LeBron James’ Cavs that beat the Pistons to make it to the finals in 2007. Same thing with Detroit-Miami in ‘06. Do you think the league wanted a Dallas-Detroit Finals? Hell no, they wanted to get Shaq back in there with rising star Dwayne Wade. There is too much stuff I can go on about when it comes to the years the Pistons were dominate. In My Opinion they should have come away with at least 3-4 championships.

Basketball is my favorite sport and I just want the integrity to come back to the game. These players are too good to be held back by referees/league officials with hidden agendas. Whether you believe Donaghy or not, the game of basketball and the greatness which is the NBA suffers the most in the end. This can’t turn into WWE! David Stern: Get it together! Im just sayin!

You can expect me to post about Kentucky’s hoop squad every time they play…well, not the entire team but John Wall.  Dude is crazy on the court! Sunday night they played Rider and he had a very impressive 21 points.  Bucket after bucket, it must be embarrassing to get shook and smiled at, at the same time. Watch the video and see Mr. Wall out there having too much fun!
