A Medical Examiner has determined that DJ A.M. was doped up on everything when he died…..literally. They found cocaine, oxycodone, hydrocodone (Vicodin), Ativan, Klonopin, Xanax, Benadryl and Levamisole all in his system. I don’t even know what half of those are. Its very unfortunate R.I.P. DJ A.M. The Medical Examiner is announcing his death as an accident.

Look who’s back…..unfortunately….. lol jp this is Chris Brown’s first single off his new album called Graffiti. It ended up online earlier than expected. The beat go hard, and it was produced by Swizz beatz then Chris threw a lil Wayne on it (LOL) and has come out with a hit. Smart move on his part you can’t go wrong with Wayne now a days. Like usual chilling out in Royal Oak I catch another cool sighting of a celeb/athlete. This time around it was scoring phenom Ben Gordon. It is funny because I watch so much Sportscenter that i know who all the athletes are that walk into Burn Rubber or just out in Royal Oak. Rick, not the same. It was pretty funny. But Ben Gordon is a cool dude and plus now he is a Piston! So of course I had to get a pic with the dude that was giving Boston Work! Oh I am taller than him too. This watch is something that has been in the makings for about 4 to 6 months. Seeing how Burn Rubber is my second home I have been there every step as the watch was prepared from scratch for you the people. The watch is the equivalent to a Rolex. What I mean by this is that it is a swiss-crafted watch that does not TIC TOC! The watch screams “Burn Rubber” posting the chef head on the dial of the watch, the band, and the also hand crafted box. This watch is very limited in quantity and will be available at the release paty at Burn Rubber on October 8th. I will have more info about the release party some time next week. I have slowly became a big fan of the Hundreds. The one thing that I have learned in my short time of being in fashion is if others hear of your name they will surely want to work with you. The Hundreds have teamed up with artist Jun and will have an art expo this weekend. From the sneak preveiw pics I can see that it will be excellent art work there. Whats up CLICU? In the light of the brutal beating death of 16 year-old Derrion Albert in Chicago, rapper Nas penned an Open Letter to the young warriors in Chicago via his blog on GlobalGrind.com. I encourage everyone to read young and old.

Nas says, “Dear Young Warriors fighting the wrong wars! Killing each other is definitely played out. Being hurt from the lost of a love one was never cool.

Dear Young Warriors fighting the wrong war! I know that feeling, that frustration with life and needing to take it out on someone, any one. But….

We chose the dumbest things to go the hardest for. I remember seeing deaths over 8 ball jackets, Fila sneakers, and name plate chains. Deaths over “he say, she say”!!!!! “I’m from this block or I’m from that block”, or “my moms n pops is f*cked up now the whole world gotta pay”!!!

I remember feeling like I was the hardest “n*gga” breathing. And I couldn’t wait to prove it. But let’s think. What are we really proving?? And proving what to who?? Everybody knows Chicago breeds the strongest of the strong but I just feel, me, being ya brother from another state feels your pain as if I grew up with you in ya very own household.

You have the ability and mindpower to change they way we are looked at. Look who’s watching us young warriors, look who’s throwing us in jail constantly, look at the ignorance in the world. Look at the racist dogs who love to see us down. Loving to bury us in the ground or in jail where we continue this worthless war on one another.

Young warriors…. We are WASTING more and more time. We gotta get on our jobs and take over the world. Cuz this movie left the theaters years ago, Juice, Menace, Boys n the Hood , Blood n Blood Out, Belly!

When we see each other why do we see hatred? Why were we born in a storm, born soldiers, WARRIORS….and instead of building each other up we are at war with each other.. May the soul of this young person find peace with the almighty. I’m with you young warriors. You’re me and I’m you. But trust me! you are fighting the wrong war.

I watched the video of the incident that left young Derrion Albert dead on a Chicago street. I could barely get through the video without nearly being moved to tears. This is the senseless violence that happens on our streets everyday. Not just in Detroit or Chicago but in every major city in the United States. It just so happened that this display of pure ignorance was caught on tape for the world to see. Hopefully, we wake up as a nation not just the Black community. It hurts to see our youth live without a value for life. Without that value for life the inner-city youth is being taken away at an alarming rate. Not just the victims but also the kids that are now in jail or going to jail for the rest of their lives. Parents, step up and help your children wise up! These children weren’t imported into the neighborhood with this mentality! I will continue to work with the kids I coach in my neighborhood to keep them on the straight and narrow. Let’s all try to mentor, guide, and save our youth!

My prayers go out to the family of Derrion Albert and the families of the hundreds of thousands of people that lost their lives due to senseless violence. Hopefully, we as a nation will not just sweep this under the rug like everything else. Wake up!
