It seems like everything that I discussed today is coming to life. Today wa like my second day of class and I saw a dude walking with the second released 2009 LRG x G-Shock which also reminded me that Buzz still owed me his pink bathing ape X G-Shock but that was another story lol. So we were chopping it up about all the G-Shocks that has come out this year through LRG. This new yellow LRG, G-Shock collab almost slipped through my radar. It is coming out sometimes in September and lucky for us September is tomorrow and for me Burn Rubber is right around the corner so I can cop in one foul swoop!(I use to hate when cartoon evil villians said “Foul Swoop” lol) I really think G-Shock has went in harder than ever this year. They have to be tops on the collab list. Any way if you still have some school clothes money you might want to hold on to about $120-$160 so that you can have what the others can’t get. I talked about these sneakers 4 times today. I was even on the phone with my dude Ryan requesting these sneakers early for next year. I had no idea that the sneaker had a blue Jumpman on the tongue. There is another hybrid in the building. Do you remember seeing this sneaker earlier in the Summer? This hybrid was a part of the G.I. Joe pack. Now they are bringing another color way that will be less limited. If you can’t really tell what are the two sneakers I will make it easy on you. The shoe has the combined designs of the Air Sharkley’s and the vintage Air Raids. I think I would get one pair of these sneakers just to see how the jeans fall on them. Sometimes a sneaker can look way better on your feet than on a picture. But I do think they are worth a purchase. Check out the pics….

I have had a couple pairs of Blazers to blog as of late. This mid top Blazer falls into the category which I like Blazers to fall under. Simple, yet dope. Of course the sneaker is more limited because it s Supreme, but what makes the Blazer dope is the missing Nike sign and the gold Nike stitch in the back of the sneaker. When you talk about Detroit Rising Stars you have to mention City. This young man is on an arrow heading straight up. A couple weeks ago he shot his video for his single “Swaga Talk” in the renown photographer’s loft Dante Marshall. While shooting his video, the long standing Detroit Hip Hop show “Turbulence” was filming the whole thing. Sounds like he has some ears.

The trailer takes place outside of Dante Marshall’s loft and shows him rolling up with the classic District 81 shirt “Run Det”. Shout out to Russell and Ty owners of District 81 for the shirt. Detroit’s own Will Grinden (USR/Xtraordinary Gentlemen) is gearing up to release his first solo street album, entitled “Rappers Illustrated: The Dream Edition”…as promo for the release, Grinden will be dropping a short Web Promo Mixtape…

This new joint from “Grinden Will G” is called “Dear Anonymous” and it will be featured on the Promo Tape. The track (Lil Wayne Record) has Will bodying the beat with raw emotion as he speaks to different people in his life…

The promo cd will be released this friday via scollasword.com and you can expect the album release mid to late September of this year. The Project feature 85% production from Will Grinden himself and only a few features including, Jay-Cro, Young Scolla & Katrina Carson.
