For the seventh consecutive year, Coca-Cola has a new edition of the bottle dedicated to the world of the night: the now famous Club Coke. In 2012, the musical artist David Guetta has been entrusted the design of this collector bottle.

The result is a “David Guetta Coca-Cola” aluminum bottle, in classic red and many photo-luminescent details that will allow the bottle to live day and especially at night. We were bigger fans of previous Club Coke collaborations with Mika and Justice So-Me, but Guetta fans will certainly be into it. The bottle is now in stock at colette.

For Spring/Summer 2012 Louis Vuitton has released the new Birdie low top sneaker. Produced with a premium suede calf leather upper, the boat shoe style sneaker comes with a removable inner sock, hand stitched vamp and rubber outer sole. The silhouette reminds us of some older visvim styles and certainly mashes up more than one popular sneaker style. It comes in two colorways and is now available from Louis Vuitton stores.

Somehow we like the style, but at the same time something feels off. Maybe they should not have gone with such a harsh contrast with the white leather and outer sole. Just an idea.

Back in December Nicki Minaj tweeted from the video set of Madonna’s new single “Give Me All Your Luvin’”—which also features M.I.A.—and a few weeks later we finally have a sneak peak at the upcoming visuals. A snippet of the clip was featured in the promo for this week’s episode of “American Idol,” and the full video is slated to premiere on Friday.

Nicki Minaj’s Birthday Gift: A Kiss From Madonna

The Mega Force-directed video was shot in December and made headlines when Nicki Minaj tweeted that she and Madge shared a kiss on set.

In a sea of quick-cut images from the fuller “first look,” Madonna dons all black (leather jacket, short shorts) while she hangs with rappers Nicki Minaj and M.I.A., who are wearing red and black cheerleader uniforms. Madge is also spotted hanging with football players in the same color uniforms. The debut of the video fittingly comes two days before Madonna plays in front of real cheerleaders and football players at the Super Bowl game on Sunday, where Nicki, M.I.A., Cee Lo Green and LMFAO are all rumored to be hitting the stage with her when the New England Patriots face off against the New York Giants in Indianapolis.

This is going to be a big week for Madonna fans. On Friday, not only does the video for “Give Me” arrive, but the song also finally hits iTunes. Her movie “W.E.” also opens that day. “Give Me All Your Luvin’ ” is the lead single off her new album M.D.N.A.,which drops March 26.

Iggy Azalea has finally come to a decision. The 21-year-old femme rapper has officially inked a record deal with Interscope under the guidance of chairman Jimmy Iovine, who has dubbed her “The Next Tupac.” Previously, Iggy was in talks with Def Jam about a possible contract. However, due to her concerns, she was reluctant to sign on the dotted line. Jimmy Iovine has alleviated her concerns, zeroing in on what the young artist is seeking and Interscope has made plans for Iggy to release her first album The New Classic in June.

Now, the question on everyone’s mind is: Does Iggy have what it takes to be compared to one of the most controversial artists of all time? “He’s crazy,” Azalea told Billboard, of Iovine. “He’s like, ‘You’re the next Tupac!’ I’m like you’re absolutely insane. But I love it!”

Azalea kicked up a storm with the release of her mixtape Ignorant Art, which caused a few labels to take notice, but she was careful in making her decision. “It took me a long time [to decide] because I went around to every label,” she explained. “I was like, ‘Okay I want to meet your AR, president, vice president, and marketing [team]. Who would do my marketing?’ I wanted to know who’d be working on my project and I wanted to meet them.”

“It’s a family and it’s a long-term commitment,” Iggy continued. “People aren’t just asking you to sign for one album. They’re asking you to sign for like three or four, sometimes five. That’s like a marriage.”

After being arrested on Saturday afternoon (January 28) Young Money rapper Cory Gunz is now free on bail. Gunz was handcuffed in the Bronx, New York, after cops found an unregistered Taurus .9mm pistol in his backpack. The 24-year-old was charged with criminal possession of a loaded firearm and, if convicted, faces a mandatory minimum sentence of three and a half years in jail.

“This was a big mistake on my part,” Gunz told the New York Daily News early Monday morning after his dad, Peter Gunz, posted the $30,000 bail. “I didn’t have any intentions of harming anyone or committing a criminal activity. So many young people look up to me and I need to fight through this.

“It’s been really hard, really stressful,” Cory continued. “When the smoke finally clears, people will understand what was going on.” The News is reporting that Gunz (born Peter Cory Pankey Jr.), who starred in his own MTV reality show, “Son of a Gun,” was nabbed around 2:30 p.m. ET in the Soundview section of the Bronx.

“It was definitely an illegal search,” Cory’s father told MTV News on Sunday afternoon. “To go to a precinct and see your son, your junior, in handcuffs, it’s heartbreaking. Anytime you see your child in jail, in the cell, in handcuffs, it’s very hard. He’s walked down some of the same paths that I walked down, but you never want to see your kids go through what you went through.”

Twitter has been buzzing with the news, and Cory’s manager Nick Cannon used the social platform to show his support. “Great dude, just a little bad luck. @CoryGunz is holding strong and will be out shortly. Family is here if and when anything is needed,” he wrote.

When he was finally released, Cory also took to Twitter.

“Home,” he wrote early Monday morning. “I apologize to all of my Supporters, Friends and Family. Things Happen, No excuses. My only regret is letting ya’ll down… Peace.”

“I’m the new king of the streets; game over” and “The A town, this my s—,” were just a couple of Alley Boy’s choice words for Young Jeezy and T.I on his newly released track “I Want In.” The already controversial track is off of Alley Boy’s new Nigganatti mixtape which was released just yesterday. In a recent interview with Fader, Alley Boy addressed his issues with the two Atlanta rappers and explained his motivation behind the jabs.

When asked why he aimed at these two rappers, in particular, he responded “There’s a lot of fake s— going on in Atlanta. People put up a persona. For example, Jeezy says he’s the realest ni—- in it. That slaps a lot of ni—- in the face who feel like they real. Or T.I. being like, I’m the King of the South. Look at all the forefathers we had before him, like Scarface, 8Ball MJG. That’s like a slap in their face, too.”

However the up and coming rapper made it clear that he has nothing personal against the two rappers and his reasoning behind this is “I just feel like it’s my time and if I’m going to aim at something, I have to aim high.”

During the interview Alley Boy was also asked about the meaning behind the outlandish title of his new mixtape Nigganatti, he replied “The tape is for people who are discriminated against. Whoever gets stereotyped or just looked at as f—ed up by the so-called normal society, that’s the Nigganatti. It’s for all us.”

Rick Ross wrapped up a week of jet-set partying for his 36th birthday with a blowout bash at Club Amnesia in Miami on Sunday night (January 28) surrounded by some close friends and even more of his fans. The space was filled with hip-hop heavyweights and club revelers watching closely, hoping to capture some of the action. Rozay ascended from a chauffeur-driven black Maybach shortly after 1 a.m. with companion DJ Khaled by his side. Decked out in his signature coconut-colored silk threads, the hefty MC was swiftly ushered inside the venue.

Rick Ross Performs ‘Holy Ghost’ At Miami Birthday Bash

Fans cheered, “Happy birthday, boss,” as an elated Ross made his way to Amnesia’s top-level VIP area, where dozens of music celebrities — including producer/singer Sean Garrett, actor Evan Ross and powerhouse producer Dr. Dre — were waiting in the wings for his arrival. Dre was easily the night’s most-talked-about guest, as the sight of him and Ross together confirmed their union after being spotted hanging out together in Miami recently.

Soon after Ross, the celebrity arrivals began to flow in sync with the hundreds of bottles of Moet Rose champagne and Ciroc vodka that were delivered to his seating area. Party host Diddy showed up soon after with an entourage consisting of new Bad Boy artist French Montana, Cassie and his son Justin. Minutes later, Wiz Khalifa and girlfriend Amber Rose joined the party.

“This is your night!” Diddy shouted at Ross, alongside a grinning Khalifa by his side. Ross, with Dre directly behind him, raised a glass filled with pink bubbly. As the night continued full steam, other hip-hop artists including the LOX, upstart Chicago crew L.E.P. and singer the Dream separately made their way to greet the Bawse. At one point, there were whispers that Young Money superstar Drake was also present in the building, but the Canadian MC was nowhere to be seen.

French Montana Shoots ‘Shot Caller’ Video With Rick Ross, Diddy

One of the most-touching moments of the night was a snapshot of Ross and former business manager and Poe Boy head E-Class exchanging hugs and pounds. Class had been a longtime associate of Rozay since his earlier days, until the two had a recent falling out that ended their business relationship.

Wrapping up the night in traditional fashion, Ross and his MMG family exited the empty-bottle-strewn VIP area and made their way to the stage for an impromptu performance. Ross gave the audience their money’s worth, performing hit after hit from his war chest of club anthems. “They say I’m getting money, must be Illuminati/ Talking to the Holy Ghost, in my Bugatti,” Ross rapped on the track “Holy Ghost” off his Rich Forever mixtape. “He knockin’ on the door, don’t let the devil iiiinnn.”

On this night, the larger-than-life MC had his way, no doubt to be blessed with another banner year.

Artist Bruce Lowell has taken a unique approach to LEGO sculptures with these everyday items he has created. We’ve seen a lot of great LEGO related stories here, and this is another cool addition. Blue Slide Park may be immediately recognizable as the name of Mac Miller’s debut album, and during a recent trip to his hometown, Pittsburgh, the young rapper gave MTV News a tour of the park that inspired his LP.

After releasing his 2010 mixtape K.I.D.S., Miller set out and toured the world, spending more and more time away from home. It was that time away that inspired the name for Mac’s debut album, Blue Slide Park. Named after his favorite childhood hangout, Mac aimed to shine the spotlight on his city. After months of touring in 2011, the “Knock, Knock” MC invited MTV News to come out to a pair of homecoming shows back in December and gave us a tour of the ‘Burgh, starting, of course, with Blue Slide Park, a playground tucked inside the much-larger Frick Park.

“Welcome to the world-famous Blue Slide Park,” Mac told MTV News, acting as our tour guide.

If you aren’t from the ‘Burgh, chances are you didn’t quite catch the significance of BSP’s opening track, “English Lane,” but after a trip to the real-life playground, it all starts to make sense. “I was literally walking to Blue Slide Park and the album was almost done and I was walking to get some last-minute inspiration,” Mac said, explaining how the park’s adjacent street became the title for the #1 LP’s first song. “I walked by and was like, ‘English Lane would be an ill title for a song, that’s how I wanna open the album ,with a song called ‘English Lane,’ ‘ because that’s how you walk up to Blue Slide Park.”

Granted, some of the scenery has changed, for instance, the slide isn’t quite as blue these days. “When I announced that I was coming out with an album called Blue Slide Park, some vandalizing kids dumped a bucket of red paint down the slide,” the 20-year old rapper said with some disappointment.

Still, while walking through the famed playground and its surrounding area, the memories began to mount for Mac. There were his baseball days at Stan Lederman Field and the make-out sessions that followed his little league victories. “I was into girls in the fifth grade,” Mac said while showing off a low-key cove where he’d take his junior high school honeys.

Now, when the breakout rap star returns to his old stomping grounds, word spreads quickly as fans flock to the neighborhood hangout in hopes for an autograph or a picture with Miller. Still, it all provides a certain comfort. Back in July, after Mac first announced the album’s title, he explained what it all meant to MTV News.

“No matter what happens in life, no matter where you go, where you’re off to, what happens with the park, that slide will always be blue. That will always be Blue Slide Park no matter what,” he said. “You can go to New York and live for 10 years and become a huge business mogul and then come back to the ‘Burgh and no matter how much money you got, that slide is still blue.”

Barring any vandals, of course.

2 Chainz has some business to take of in NYC this week. The Atlanta rapper will perform a sold out show at SOB’s on Monday night (January 30) then he’ll stop by “RapFix Live” on Wednesday, where he will announce his new record deal. “I think I’m gonna come sit on the sofa Wednesday. Me and you got a lot of things we got to talk about face-to-face,” 2 Chainz told Sway when he Skyped into last week’s episode.

“It should be a good day Wednesday. I’m coming up to New York and have a few finalized meetings also,” he added.

On Monday (January 30), Chainz, who got his start as Tity Boi in the rap duo Playaz Circle, will be performing his first major New York concert at SOB’s. Over the past year, 2 Chainz has reinvented himself as a solo artist and taken a hold on rap’s underground thanks to catchy anthems like his latest single “Spend It.” After his NYC concert, the “Duffle Bag Boy” rapper will be running around the city tying up loose ends before he sits with Sway on Wednesday. By that time he will be ready to announce his new recording home exclusively on “RapFix Live.”

“Might as well let the cat out the bag,” he said.

Mac Miller is another of rap’s most exciting newcomers, and MTV News recently went back to the ‘Burgh with the “Donald Trump” rapper when he performed a pair of homecoming shows in December. M.I.A. has plenty to share with the world today. Pitchfork kicked things off by premiering her latest single “Bad Girls,” which we first heard on her mixtape Vicki Leekx. Visuals for the Danja-produced track are expected on Friday, February 3 from Romain Gavras, the same director responsible for the rapper’s “Born Free” video. Next, during an interview with BBC Radio 1, M.I.A. confirmed that she will indeed be performing at the Super Bowl halftime show, alongside Madonna and Nicki Minaj.

The beef between Common and Drake has all but fizzled out at this point, since the Young Money rapper declined to respond to Com’s name calling on the “Stay Schemin’ (remix),” and in a new interview with Nah Right, Drake confirms that it’s all dead, done, over with. When asked if he would ever release another verse aimed at Common, he was definitive about his decision. “No. Because despite how it’s been worded by him that situation is not a “hip hop moment” or a “battle for the sake of musical integrity,” Drake said. “It’s a ploy for attention around the release of an album.”

“That line came from a conversation about being this young and making this much money and the fear of losing it all,” Drake explained. “I just used his potential situation to address my own life. I never intended to offend Vanessa or anyone else. That line had everything to do with me and what goes on in my head as a 25 year old man with this much income flowing in.”

Rick Ross celebrated his 36th birthday on January 28 but when you’re the Bawse, it takes multiple parties and plenty of friends to truly commemorate the occasion. Ross began his birthday trek in NYC at Queens club Perfections with a stop the following night in Atlanta, before wrapping up in his hometown. The real bash went down at South Beach’s club Amnesia on Sunday night, where Ross even performed Rich Forever track “Holy Ghost” featuring Diddy.
